Middle School Science/STEM

6th Grade Ecology
Students have been researching ideas for science or engineering projects for the Ozarks Science and Engineering Fair (OSEF). There are many wonderful ideas for projects, and students will continue to research and design their projects.

7th and 8th Grade Physical Science
Students have been learning how to graph change in position over time. This allows students to calculate the velocity of objects and translate this data into Velocity vs Time graphs. This sets the foundation for describing complex motion using language common to scientists.

STEM
Students continue their work on the trebuchet. We have been splitting our time between this build project and learning the basics of Blender 3D software.
