Our annual Culture Day at the Summit is taking place on Friday, March 13th during the school day. Middle school and high school Spanish students have organized 8 interactive stations that showcase Hispanic cultures from around the world. Students from Early Learners through 5th grade, as well as high school students not enrolled in Spanish, will rotate through the stations throughout the day.

What to Expect

This year’s theme is “From Islands to Inlands: Celebrating Hispanic Culture,” and the stations feature 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇲🇽 Mexico, 🇩🇴 The Dominican Republic, 🇨🇺 Cuba, 🇵🇾 Paraguay, 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico, 🇬🇶 Guinea Ecuatorial, and 🇺🇸 Miami, FL. Each station represents a different country or region and includes a variety of activities. Students will have the opportunity to participate in music and dance, play games and sports, complete scavenger hunts, and work on cultural crafts. The stations are designed to give everyone a chance to learn about and experience different aspects of Hispanic culture in a hands-on way.

About the Event

Culture Day is a Summit tradition that allows Spanish students to share their learning with the rest of the school community. The students designed and organized all of the stations, making this an opportunity for them to teach others about the cultures they study in class. We’re so excited to celebrate Hispanic culture with everyone next Friday!
