Community Service Project

The kindergarten class is taking the lead for our next community service project. They are filled with excitement, generosity and compassion with the idea of “children helping other children.” Perhaps it’s the time of year for a little spring house cleaning for a good cause.

On January 20, 2012 there was a fire at the Missouri Hotel.  185 residents of the homeless shelter were forced to move into other housing on this cold, winter’s day. The Missouri Hotel would be grateful for any new or gently used children’s books, games and toys for the children.  They would like to have a library and a toy store for the children to enjoy and pick from on their birthdays.  Our collection dates will be March 1-15.
