Magic Tree House

The Magic Tree House series has quickly become a classroom favorite during read aloud. Thus far we have shared two books, Midnight on the Moon and Thanksgiving on Thursday, each of which relate to our science and social studies topics.  Through read aloud, reading fluency and expression are modeled, and reading comprehension skills are practiced.  While first graders continue to growing their reading abilities, don’t forget that it is important to continue to read aloud your child at home too!
