Egg Drop

First and second grade students had a very exciting afternoon as McKenzie, a sixth grade student, planned a brief lesson and activity for us to learn about gravity.  Using cardboard and plastic containers, styrofoam, bubble wrap, tissues, and paper, students constructed vessels to hold an egg, which was .  then dropped from the patio.  We eagerly awaited the results, as one by one, containers were opened.  Six lucky eggs survived the drop!
