Ending Blends -lk, -nk, -sk

Although it is a short week, we are moving forward in spelling working with words ending in -lk, -nk, and -sk.  Students brainstormed and selected words for their individual spelling list.  We were especially mindful of correct letter formation when making a “Summit” or D’Nealian lowercase k.  Among other routine spelling and word work activities, this week, students will be working with word families with each of the above patterns.  Our partner spelling assessment will be held on Friday.
