Book Fair Fun!

The Scholastic Book Fair is all virtual this year from November 1st-14th! Today, first grade students browsed the virtual book fair and created wishlists of books they were interested in. Wishlists will be sent home in students’ Friday Folders this Wednesday (no school for students Thursday, Nov. 5 or Friday, Nov. 6).

Since the book fair is entirely online, we will be doing teacher wish lists a little differently this year. We are asking families who would like to purchase books from teacher wish lists to pledge a dollar amount they would like to contribute by filling out the following form:

The Summit will purchase items from teacher wish lists with these funds. Please submit separate responses to donate to multiple classrooms.

All pledges will be billed to Summit family accounts. If you would like to share this form with any other Summit supporters (grandparents, friends, etc.), you are welcome to do so! Just understand that your Summit family account will be charged, so you will need to collect their money on your own.

Pledges are due by Tuesday, November 10th. The Summit will be purchasing books with these donations through the Scholastic Book Fair before November 14th.

Thank you for your generous support of literacy at The Summit!
