Culture Studies: Poland

Last week our continent of the week was Europe. We are lucky to have a close connection to Europe – our very own Ms. Halina! Ms. Halina was born in England and was raised by Polish parents. She shared all kinds of interesting facts about Poland with our class on Monday. She showed us many interesting pictures, including Polish children in their traditional clothes, castles of Poland, the flag, and many more! She even taught us some Polish words!

We practiced saying the names of some body parts in Polish by singing and dancing along to Head Shoulders Knees and Toes using the Polish words! So neat!
