Yesterday, the first graders participated in a school-wide celebration of The Summit’s graduating seniors. Each class in the building lined up outside of their classroom to make a tunnel for the seniors to run through in celebration. The students were tso excited to see the seniors in their caps and gowns parading down the hallways. Some first graders even made blue or yellow posters to hold up while cheering for their older peers with encouraging comments like “Well done!”, “You did it!” and “Have fun at college!” As the seniors moved through the crowd, the younger students gave them high fives and cheered as they began their new journey. Ms. Amy played music over the speaker and shared about each student. It was so cool to see the younger students interact with their older friends!
CONGRATS, 2025 seniors!
